Application Fee
To complete your CTET application, you’ll need to pay the following fees:

Payment can be made through an Online Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or Offline E Challan Mode.
Age Limit as 01-08-2023
- Minimum Age : 18 Years (Class 6 to 5)
- Minimum Age : 21 Years (Class 9 to 10 & 11 to 12)
- Maximum Age : 37 Years (UR-Male)
- Maximum Age : 40 Years (UR-Female)
- Maximum Age : 40 Years (BC/ EBC-Male & Female)
- Maximum Age : 42 Years (SC/ ST-Male & Female)

Eligibility
Primary Stage (Class I to V)
- Senior Secondary OR (Its Equivalent) with at least 50% Marks and passed OR appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- OR Senior Secondary (Its Equivalent) with at least 45% Marks and passed OR appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 norms.
- OR Senior Secondary OR (Its Equivalent) with at least 50% Marks and passed OR appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- OR Senior Secondary (Its Equivalent) with at least 50% Marks and passed OR appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduate & passed OR appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- OR Graduation Degree with 50% Marks & B.Ed (Bachelor Degree in Education).
Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII)
- Bachelor’s Degree & passed OR appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
- Graduation with 50% Marks and passed OR appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
- Graduation with 45% Marks and passed OR appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE norms.
- Senior Secondary OR (It’s Equivalent) with at least 50% Marks and passed OR appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary OR (Its Equivalent) with at least 50% Marks and passed OR appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A / B.Sc. Ed. OR B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with 50% Marks and passed OR appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (Special Education).
- OR Graduation with 50% Marks & Passed OR appearing in a 1-year B.Ed (Special Education).
How to Apply for CTET January 2024
- Visit the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in.
- Go to the “Apply Online” section.
- Fill out the online application form and make a note of your Registration No./Application No.
- Upload a recent scanned photograph and signature.
- Pay the examination fee using a debit/credit card or net banking.
